My name is Ariel Duckworth, I'm 27 years old and a stay at home mom with my two boys and little girl. I take the opportunity of being a stay at home parent to teach them what they need to know and help them grow into strong adults that I will be proud of. We attend church on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are very involved in our church, which teaches them how to love unconditionally and living by example.
I started making crafts way before I had my own kids, it was something I enjoyed myself as a child. I learned to hand sew in the 6th grade and used it to make small accessories. It became the basis for what I do today because I loved it so much. Making hair bows is still a favorite of mine and now with nieces I can make more as gifts or to try them out when I find a new style of hair bow. Now that I have sons, bow ties are a big thing to me.
In my free time, I look for small DIY projects to make and it has always been a wish of mine to show others. I've seen so many how-to videos and DIY blogs that it inspired me to start my own. Of course, I am always open to suggestions and tips from others because that's how we perfect and grow our skills.
One day, I'd like to have a small class where I teach my favorite DIYs in a more hands on experience (my favorite style of learning) so that others can enjoy as well. Until then you're stuck with me on here. Feel free to send me a message or comment.
